Discipleship

Matthew 28:19-20 says “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” 

The D in KIDS stands for discipleship and is the emphasis for our 1st through 4th graders. During these years we want to transform simply knowing who Jesus is into a meaningful and lifelong relationship with Him. We will teach about what it means to be a true follower of Christ and how that will impact our lives. 

It is our belief that these need to begin transforming the Jesus that they have learned about into a Jesus that they can worship and honor with their actions and choices. We also believe that these children need to know that they can “Go and Tell” their friends about Jesus, their “bestest friend ever”.
